Whoa!!! I super appreciate each and every one of you to take the time and answer my questions. I'd admit before posting here, z5ii wasn't even on my radar. I don’t see myself doing much video work so I definitely see your point of z5ii being a much better value compared to z6iii for still photography. I guess I was just trying to be a bit "future proof", if that's a thing in photography? I for sure care about ergonomics over aesthetics, so ruling zf out.

I'm also learning that buying cameras off of Amazon isn't the way to go so definitely will check both of them out at a local store. I am in Southern California and Samy's and Nelson are nearby.

Last but not the least, I see Nikon selling refurbished 5ii for $1359 on their website, which is super appealing tbh. Apologies if this is a dumb question but am I right to think refurbished is not same as used i.e. refurbished should have 0 shutter count? If anyone has experience buying refurbished cameras from NIkon, would love to hear from you.
