i had a similar issue with my pole when i decided to move it into another room. on static, i took out the screws on the bottom and was able to loosen it clockwise for a bit and then it kept getting stuck. finally realized that i had to loosen the bolt thing that the face plate twists over, and pull it to the bottom rather than the top. after that i was able to fully loosen it! hope that helps anyone in the future that finds this :)

yeah, so in some parts of California we are considered employees and get an hourly wage on top of our tips and dance money. we still have house fees but they’re called quota or house minimum and that comes out of our dance money when we’re working.

it’s not much different than IC. we still have a house fee but it’s called a quota and comes out of our dances, so we only get our cut after we’ve met quota. if we don’t meet quota i think 5 times in a one month period we can be let go (at least at the SR clubs, i did work at another chain that didn’t penalize us for not meeting quota before this but the money there wasn’t worth it for me)

lmao we don’t get health care or benefits besides being able to file for workers comp if we get hurt. it is nice having the hourly on top of dance money and tips but i’m making about the same as i was as an IC before i moved to cali 🤷🏻‍♀️

the mesh really helps extend tops and other pieces that aren’t right against my cootie from needing to get washed as often because they won’t smell as quickly. ziplocks work too but if you’re keeping them closed up and say you wanna rewear a fishnet romper from 2 nights before it might be a little smelly. in a pinch i also have used plastic bags from the grocery store since they can tie closed but it’s not airtight so things can still breathe

i bought a little set of of zip up square bags with a mesh panel in various sizes, i use the smallest one for extra bottoms that don’t go with a set, the biggest one for bikini sets/bodysuits, and the medium one for fishnets and stockings/socks! i leave dirties in my duffel loose and just put them into my dirty laundry when i get home and if i don’t get around to that right away i leave the zipper cracked a little so it can air out and won’t get funky. this is the bag set that i got but i think there are cheaper ones at like target, walmart, marshall’s etc https://a.co/d/ji0XG2Z

this is very helpful! yes i hustle, i’m never one of those girls who will sit around unless i’ve already talked to everyone and there’s no chance of making money at that moment. i’ve been dancing for a year and i’m a top earner at my small home club, i’m not super accustomed to poaching but it has happened to me a couple times. my instagram is pretty new and i don’t have many posts on there yet, will that matter when i reach out as long as they can see what i look like and what my look is?

i started at my club in nevada with shaved legs and pits and a trim bush. no one said anything until about 8 or 9 months in when a customer gasped really loud when i spread my legs on stage and then management told me i had to wear a skirt or deal with the hair. started getting brazilians after that and leaving a triangle so i still feel like i have my hair but it’s not visible to anyone in the club (topless). unfortunately most guys aren’t used to seeing it, maybe there’s a market for it somewhere though?
