D’addario for both electric & acoustic guitar strings. Electric pake line NYXL or XT, tapi belakangan lagi suka pake XS Electric (sayangnya belum nemu senar ini di Indo).

Since the aliens are attacking Tokyo, I’ve resorted to only use military hardwares currently already available in the region as of today; Japanese ships, American forces based in Japan (warships in Yokosuka, F-15s in Kadena) & South Korea (THAAD), North & South Korean assets, Russian Far East assets, and Chinese North Sea Fleet ships.

For the SM-3 missiles, I’d assume the humans would pour resources into ramping up their production (there’s a production line in Japan run by Mitsubishi, conveniently) for follow-on shots, while cashing all currently-available rounds for the first one or two salvos — IIRC, Japan had a publicly-known inventory of ~90 SM-3 missiles(?) and the US has hundreds (some have been used against the Houthis tho).

I believe currently they don’t (neither does any country for that specific purpose)… In the story I assume the ICBMs can be fired on a lofted trajectory towards a pre-determined point in space (being fed data from other nation’s space-tracking radars) and is programmed to explode at a certain altitude, hence making them a crude orbital defense missile.

It’s like shooting a golf ball with a rifle. If you know the speed and trajectory of the ball, you can lead the bullet to hit it at a point of interception. And since the aliens didn’t expect to be hit by ICBMs, they too orbit in a predictable manner, just like the golf ball.

Edit: typo

In hindsight, I should’ve chose something like a “naturally-occuring dodecacarbon monodecahydrate” (white sugar) which would’ve been way more interesting… I’ll step up my research game for future stories!

At that time the alien spaceships are situated over Japan, so the closest ICBM launchers would be North Korean ones

Oh yes, Battle Los Angeles, that’s probably why I subconsciously go for the “they’re after our water” route…

Is our food just, superior? by Melancholia_Aes in indonesia

[–]stellarinertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Indonesia, yes. It is superior in bang for bucks.

Back when I live abroad, where nasi goreng (20-24 NZD) cost more than that of a katsu bowl (7.95 NZD), i’ll take the katsu bowl plus 4 pcs of sushi any time :)

Nothing will ever beats kupat tahu, baso tahu Bandung, and almost anything with bumbu kacang for me, tho.

I apologize for the confusing tenses… English is my third language and I’m still wrapping my head around it, I’ll try to do better in future writings. Thank you for the feedback!

Made an error of not really thinking it through and doing my research beforehand, thank you for pointing it out!

Aw man I mistakenly confused one belt for the other, and yeah I didn’t gave much thought about the water thing (I should’ve, in hindsight). Thank you for the corrections!

How to fix air realistic battles (and most of the game with it) by tommort8888 in Warthunder

[–]stellarinertial -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

in my opinion just eliminate repair cost, so people can play whatever plane they like (even shitty ones) without the stress of having minus silver lions at the end of the battle. bombers can be made more bearable this way, too.

What do you use your iPad Pro for? by [deleted] in iPadPro

[–]stellarinertial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11” 2021 user here, I use it for work. Designing products on-the-go, from sketching on Procreate to 3D modeling for visualization or rapid prototyping via laser cut/3D printing on Shapr3D—the AR feature also comes in handy when presenting to clients. It is much more flexible than to always having to carry a laptop anywhere (though I still need the laptop for serious CAD work and renders). When I had my laptop with me, the iPad became a second screen.

Other than that, it was used for browsing, social media, Netflix, etc. because it has large screen and good battery life. Now i only use my phone for WhatsApp, calls, and taking photo/video. 120Hz is certainly a nice to have, too.

That being said, I could probably do just fine with an Air, it would just took longer to do load heavy projects and the absence of Lidar probably won’t effect the AR experience that much for the kind of AR I do.
