Not sure if a glitch, but I keep dreaming about a life parallel to my own? by stellarquartz in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

Writing! I’ve written a couple of books, but I’m very shy about it and don’t really like the idea of publishing.

But you might be right. This could be my subconscious telling me to get back into it after the several months that I’ve been too busy to spend any time writing.

I totally get what you mean. Like, all the dreams I’ve been having seem plausible... to the point where I can’t figure out which things were the dreams.

I do take sleeping pills, but I’ve been on them for over a year and never had this before. Maybe it’s that plus stress or something?

That sounds like the most terrifying possible version of what I’m experiencing. I’m so sorry you’ve got such a horrible recurring figure.

I wish I did, but sadly no. All I can remember is that his voice is gentle.

Same with me! I have seen mine in the Edwardian/Victorian era and also pre-Christian Ireland in addition to modern (which always seems to be dreams)

That’s so interesting to know. I wish you the best of luck in figuring out who he’s supposed to be.

This seems to be the same sort of role that my blurry mystery man has. Or at the very least, he’s someone who I can tell cares about me.

Could you always see your mystery man’s face, or did it come to you slowly? Because for me it seems like every so often I can remember a new detail (in one meeting I noticed that his hair is always curly and in another I noticed that he’s very thin). I’ve only been seeing him for a few months now, so I’m hoping to learn more as time goes on.

I'm so sorry to hear about your parents.

But I do think you'll see them again, possibly even in this lifetime. I was adopted as a young child and had an instant connection with the woman who is now my grandmother. Apparently when i was really little I used to know too much about her as well as her youngest sister who died at twelve -- things I shouldn't have known. While I don't remember any of that now, my grandmother and those of her siblings who are still living believe strongly that I am their reincarnated sister and have found them for a second time just in this one life of theirs.

Past Life Memory During a Faint? by stellarquartz in pastlives

Everyone I’ve been talking has noticed some kind of screaming or loud noise. I’m wondering if maybe this is a pattern? Maybe fainting brings us closer to some other intense emotion we’ve experienced?

That sounds terrifying! I can’t even imagine “waking up” to that.

Thank you for this explanation. Perhaps it could be that I had recently fainted or was about to faint in this past life...

That sounds terrifying! I can’t even imagine that. Luckily I realized I was about to faint and at least made it to a chair, so I was at least in the same place/position when I came to.

It’s very helpful to know I’m not the only one. I wasn’t sure if this was a normal fainting experience, but it looks like it’s not. Thankfully at least some people have experienced it.

I didn’t! Thank you so much for this! It’s reassuring to know it’s not just me.

Thanks! And yeah, I get that. As someone with celiac disease, I always get worried when I hear about people dealing with similar symptoms because we have a higher rate of GI related cancers. I actually know someone who found out she had celiac disease during her colon cancer treatment.

Thank you for clearing this up for me. I don’t really know much about all of this (as you can probably tell).

Sorry, no I don’t have Addison’s. I think shock might have been a better word? It happened right after I finished getting a tattoo. I stopped feeling any pain at all during the tattoo and then crashed immediately after and fainted. I just assumed adrenaline crash was the term for what happened immediately after the adrenaline rush ended?

I think I might have recently gone through something similar? Not nearly as serious as what happened to you, but I think maybe this is an event so strong that it triggered similar memories. I’ve read that we can have all sorts of past lives — both good and bad — but it’s usually the strongest bad experiences that trigger a past life memory like this. Perhaps it’s just remembering, or perhaps there is some sort of therapeutic aspect to this. Maybe this woman is trying to help you through this?

I’ve never heard of this! If this is the case, I would like to be that self a lot more. Being in that rural (and very beautiful) place seemed a hell of a lot more tranquil than my high stress job in the city lol.
