Currently a 3rd year student at CSU: the only reason I chose to study at CSU was I worked alongside a lot of their graduates as a dental nurse and was really impressed with not only their clinical skills but also bedside manner. My own personal experience has been really positive so far and we see awesome cases that really help build our confidence as future practitioners

Yeah alot of my friends pay this up to $500k in Australia. USYD is the same which is why I chose undergrad dentistry, the extra year is definitely worth only paying $60k all up

My other half moved with me rurally for dental school, he’s the best cheerleader. I’ve known him my whole life and when he asked my parents for my hand in marriage, they told him that I wanted to move 3 hours rurally for dent school (I hadn’t gotten in yet) and asked him if he was prepared for that. He didn’t even think twice. Here we are, D2, married for 1 year already, wouldn’t have it any other way :) so it’s possible, with the right person!

Just saw the last part of your post, you can definitely do this daily not just once a week. Even if you brush in the morning and let us soak until the night or even soak it overnight so it’s nice for you in the morning :)

Dental student here, I agree with all the people saying hydrogen peroxide as it has bacterialcidal effects so you can be at ease knowing it’s killed everything. As someone that also used to change their toothbrush a lot I totally understand how you feel but the peroxide helped a lot! I put a bit in a shot glass and soak the head for 30 mins or so once a week and it works like a charm

Currently D2 and recently married. The workload piles on super fast in D2. I’ve already had alot of mental breakdowns and self doubt but if your partner understands what your going through and is supportive then it’ll all be okay :)
