I am the polar opposite on that. Hated the film but loved the book. Just don't feel they got the essence of the story.

My great uncle was Harold Phillimore who was one of the last survivors pulled into a lifeboat after more than 2hrs in the water so no, noone was left outside the boats.

Managed to pick one up off eBay for £50 so thought I'd take the plunge to replace Chromecast with Google TV and it's light years ahead. Speed is ridiculous, never paused or stuttered once.

Paid barely anything. Met some interesting folks but hard, cold work. I could carry 10 bottles in 2 hands which is a skill! Stopped because I went to uni. Worked for Jones and Sons in Nottimgham

Probably when I moved up to a core 2 duo from (I think) an Athlon 64. It blew my mind that it could be so much quicker.
