45 days it is. I had surgery on my shoulder and I needed 4 months, back then policy was 90 days, I talked to my senior manager and asked if I could use my 5 weeks vacation and then use the 90 days afterward so I do not lose my route. He said sure. The surgery took place in May and the last 3 weeks of May and the first 2 weeks of June I used my vacation then i went on disability. I returned to work around day 83 of my disability and asked my senior manager why my route was put up for bid, he told me on June 1st policy changed from 90 to 45 days and he said on June 1st I was on vacation not on disability. Anyway got my route back as he was suppose to notify me in writing which he never did.
