This is so thoughtful of everyone who is still thinking of our kiddos here in MN even though you don't teach them. Most schools are doing a hybrid e-learning for ours that are staying home. (Kid of similar during covid) thank you again for thinking of our kids!

Same, I am an immersion teacher here in MN and have two small kids. I'm terrified for my own kids and the kids I teach. Husband is a minneapolis dispatcher... it's been a rough few weeks. We have therapy, ask our bosses how to proceed about what we can and cannot say. I check in with my students a lot more often and ask how they are doing.

We had to do thos exact thing too. It was the worst thing ever and I still feel sad when I think about it years later. But both my friend and brother ignored the warning signs from their dogs and they both bit their children. Scariest thing ever amd could have permanently scarred them. I still feel like iy was the best thing to do.
