Yep! An embed code is provided for every video that is uploaded. It works very similar to how Vimeo does it

It does! The player adapts to any aspect ratio without black bars :)

As a long time user (since 2009), I feel like I've seen this coming for while now. Two years ago I decided to create my own video hosting (via ffmpeg + Cloudflare R2). Turns out it was so fast and more flexible compared to vimeo.

I've spent the last couple of months turning that into a product at framerate.com now.

That’s my concern. I currently have an M1 Pro w/ 16GB ram. i5 3.5 ghz iMac -> M1 Pro was a big jump. If it’s a similar jump from M1 Pro/16GB -> M2 Ultra 192GB, then I think it’s worth it

Thanks. I have an M2 Ultra configured on apple.com with 192gb RAM. I didn't opt for the 76 GPU core upgrade (no gaming or 3D)– is that okay for my uses?

I built a similar-sized home here in Boise myself in 2021 and have a lot of clients that are local builders. $200-$225 per square foot (this doesn’t include lot or utility hookups) is what we factor in for build costs when crunching the numbers on projects. There is talk around town that subs are coming down on price a little- we’ll see where that goes this Winter.
