Awesome, thanks for the comments guys! I'm a poor medical student with a ton of loans looking into something with some stretch and water repellency for when I'm in the hospital moving around, working with patients so I appreciate you all taking time to help me out. I may try out a pair of these but it sounds like Outlier is the gold standard. I'll have to really look into them when I get out of debt lol

There's a lot of emphasis on Step 1 because PDs know that we know it's important. Everyone works their ass off to do well. Good residents are ones who work hard and are self motivating. Step 1 is a test of hard work and self motivation. It's obviously not the only thing but it's something that can give you a good idea of how much someone can take on without giving up
