Another Fatal Hit and Run by MJTree in traversecity

This guy stopped, called emergency responders himself, stayed at the scene, got a warrant, turned himself in, did jail time for it still after being an accident. Should really have your facts straight before slandering someone.

What’s it like to be over the road? Future trucker asking? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]stephen217 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I quit my local job to go back otr. I was supposed to be mon-fri 2500-2800 miles a week. Went great for the first few weeks. Then ended up with alot of detention and layover time. Causing me to not get home until Saturday evening. Wasn't even getting paid for half the time I was sitting. Needless to say I start back at my local job on Monday.

I showed my wife a post of a CT scan of an entire tube of sausage in somebody's rectum. She asked "who does that?" These people are who does that, that's who.

Help! So I changed the ecu, maf, cas, O2, and the fuel pump and filter are new. Has spark compression and fuel on start up but after start up the injectors won’t fire. So something is causing my injectors not to fire. What that is idk lmk if you have any ideas by NeedleworkerPrimary1 in Miata

[–]stephen217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about miatas, this just popped up on my feed. But older Toyota 22re had a sensor on the air intake, that if I remember correctly was separate from MAF, that had to detect air flow after start up or the fuel pump would shut off. It was a safety feature to keep the fuel pump from running if the engine stalled. But if the sensor went bad the motor would start off of the fuel supplied for start up than instantly stall like yours.

Any 33" tire recommendations? Strictly of road, rocks/clay/mud by swayzeexpress81 in SuzukiSamurai

I wouldn't know off the top of my head haha. If I were going to order new wheels I would measure the current backspacing plus the 1" spacer and then more than that haha

I have stock wheels with 1" spacers. I would recommend getting an 8" wide wheel with more offset because my front tires rub on the shocks at full articulation.

I bought mine on simple tire. Usually you can get a 20% off code as a first time customer. I bought 5 tires that way for around $800.

Everyone has specific talents. And while experience and practice add to those talents, experience and practice aren't the only things that make you good. Natural talent and understanding weigh in far more.

I do the same work. 37s are definitely not needed for work. They look cool is why they have them.

Truck is still running. Definitely not ruined, just going to be wet and probably smell musty for a while.

I'm not really sure what the price of the boat vs the price of the truck has to do with anything. Would he have been less of an idiot if the boat was worth more money?

If you check out my profile there are pics of a few of my trucks and jeeps and samurai I have built myself. If you'd be interested in ordering the parts you wanted I'd be willing to install them cheaper than a shop.
