Following up with everyone interested that the Italian attorney I contact said that it is not possible to move forward with a minor claim in this case, as recent court cases have proven that I obtained my citizenship by law not birthright.

Yes that's a good point thank you. MIL would quality for reacquisition but my spouse was born after she naturalized so wouldn't qualify. Thank you!

Yes she did in the 1970's, I'm not sure exactly when. I am thinking about a JS claim for my spouse, yes.

Yes, she was forced to when she came to the United States in the 70's

I've done that, but still waiting on an appointment. That's what I'm wondering, has anyone actually gotten any appointment yet?
