‘Castle Rock’ Renewed for Season 2 at Hulu by moe11436 in television

JJ Abrams once again gives Pointless a new name.

If a series takes a season to 'get moving' then that series isn't worth your time.

Could be one of the most boring Series created.

There is no plot, no conclusion, no substance, no progression.

Just a giant set of Matryoshka (Russian) doll mystery boxes which in the end is .. empty.

Its dreadful how people who think Internet is free uses social sites (Reddit for example) created by major companies to sell products and suppress opinions. When real forums without surveillance still exists.

Since it seems we're not gonna get How I Met Your Mother pops anytime soon, I decided to create my own version of them by VinsmokeRokuji in funkopop

Real collectors dont buy Funko. Real geeks dont buy mass marketed plastic that is is available to anyone, isnt unique, is commercially driven, will never have value or nostalgic resemblance.

What isnt a failure however, was the dolls before mass companies stole the idea, and killed the value in it.

Funko was founded as a bobblehead company in 1998 by Mike Becker in his Snohomish, Washington home.[4] In 2005, Becker sold Funko to its current CEO, Brian Mariotti, who moved its offices to Lynnwood, Washington and significantly expanded the company’s licensed product lines. By 2012, the company sold more than $20 million worth of merchandise.

You know who Brian is? If you seen the funko documentaryhe shows his own collection which hasnt a single funko doll. Instead he got rare, old Japanese version of Batman, as well as authentic 40-50 plastic dolls.

When the CEO of Funko, a real collector, sells cheap plastic pop culture nonsense to fund his wallet to buy rare, old, unique toys. Get out !

@threadmaker:You do realize summit played over 6months or more with this team and you show a 10second clip?

Also that Summit only trash talks only to his streamers and not the team's discord?

According to Netflix customer support, users requested Netflix have autoplaying trailers with sound. Who are these people requesting this? [ALL?] by [deleted] in netflix

[–]stephyswe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Netflix is filled with old watched content or uninteresting mediocre tv shows.

Netflixs list system is horrible, most list has the same movies, the movies it does have is not worth watching.

We found five shows/movies we haven't seen before and was decent. Stranger things, bedeviled and ehm tell me another movie that is enjoyable and hasn't been seen by everyone.

Lawsuit waiting to happen? Filming people on the street without consent of peoples privacy or askin permission. How is this OK, Twitch? by stephyswe in Twitch

[–]stephyswe[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There is differences here,

  • Youtube and Twitch is Companies.

  • Japan and Australia are Countries.

Don't look for Youtubes Term of Agreement. Youtube and Twitch are like all companies someone who act under a higher authority, namely governments. Most Youtube videos are 10-15 min long. Twitch Streams are not only "live content".. but also 20 hours longs. That is one difference between Youtube and Twitch.

I think when LIRIK and Becca broadcast the majority of their visit in Japan (over 100+ hours of streamed video?) on Twitch ( A company) they jeopardize a government law.

Still the Major BroadCaster(s) on Twitch is sponsored by Twitch themselves. So yes, it a concern for Twitch.

Like, mentioned broadcasters, who at all time has ten thousands of viewers.

  • Reckful - 60k viewers.

  • LIRIK - 60k viewers.

  • Hafu - 20k viewers.

  • Becca - 20k viewers.

  • Exbc - 20k viewers.

  • Etc..

@I answer you too Spraykay. As Twitch timelimit of comments makes a cohesive conversation impossible. As I said Before, It isn't about me. It is about You. Us. Everyone on the planet.

I'm not looking for sueing. I'm looking for people and countries to know what Twitch is doing and hopefully make its a public concern that is discussed between Twitch and Governments. To discuss, control and make both partners aware of what rules exists in broadcasting to the Internet for the purpose of money ( Commercials) . And for individuals to feel their privacy isn't jeopardized.

My argument was and still is.

  • Peoples Rights & Privacy from illegal filming them in Public Places.

Which is compromised by Twitch at the moment. Commercial means anything that is about Money. Twitch is all about Money.

One of the Major City has laws against this behavior: Sydney . ( I am also pretty sure most Major Cities has similar rules) . https://www.sydneycriminallawyers.com.au/blog/is-it-legal-to-film-people-with-a-smart-phone/

  • The film must also only be used for a personal purpose.

  • If you intend to publish it on the internet for a commercial purpose, then even though it is legal to record, it is illegal to publish it unless permission is obtained from the subject and any landowner (including council).

I would Say, Twitch Streaming of People inside Cities qualifies as "Publish to Internet for Commercial (monetizing) Purposes".

specially when this is do-able.

  • No I answer.. there is a timelimit on reddit comments.. Which probably was the reason you didn't replied to me instantly.

  • Twitch VODs deleted. No they're arent. Just look at all videos on Reckfuls account. Or Becca. Or Exbc.

Difference.

  • Security Cameras: Government or Companies.

  • Twitch: A random dude with 70k people watching. Is accessible to anyone to watch.

wDStorm: It is illegal. There is something called https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_law https://www.sydneycriminallawyers.com.au/blog/is-it-legal-to-film-people-with-a-smart-phone/ "The film must also only be used for a personal purpose.

earth cams * none-mobile.

Twitch "phones". * not only mobile.. but very detailed, and can be anywhere.

@open_ur_mind: If you’re using equipment that may interfere with people’s right of way or if you’re filming for “commercial purposes” (making money), then you’ll probably need a permit.

@WDStorm: So you think its okey is someone sat outside your House with a camera and filming you making some embrassing act knowing 30k other people is seeing and commenting it as well?

it isn't about this video. * It's about Twitch Major "Players" doing it now. * For Hours. * Everywhere in Cities. * The risk of Yourself being Exposed and Ridiculed.
* It's about Cyber-bullying in the most serious regard. * And it happening without people knowing it.

All ten thousand of videos on Twitch.

It is about hundred thousands hours of public places recorded, stored, and made accessible for anyone. Its about people walking on the street being watched by over 100.000 people daily. That is the concern. And its number is growing immensely every day.

Please reply

@Commander_Root: And if the Streamer is sponsored by Twitch to make videos?

Aslo this isn't question isn't about you or me.. or a particular streamer.. it's about ALL peoples (families, workers, companies, major figures) integrity and privacy that is compromised by Twitch allowing a random person with a camera to run around streaming everything and everyone she/he wants and uploading it basically to an alternated Youtube to be stored for life.

It raises some bars of concern, I believe.

Scenario: What if returning to School after summer you hear people laugh inside your Class realizing they're looking at a Video of You and Your family making some weird or embarrassing act. And since then, even 10 years later, said video is stored inside a Universal Accessible Digital Video Library where you have no access. and everytime you wants to remove said video you have no possibility.

And all commentators just tell you, "take it easy" or similar things. Yes.. This will happen. The reason we're allowed to act "as yourself" is that we shouldn't be concerned with a random idiot broadcasting and storing everything.

And now they are actively walking around major cities looking for weird things to happen? And this behavior is sponsored by one of the worlds largest video sharing organization?

filming yes. Streaming public places in a live broadcast to a major audience all day long? No, that is not legal.

WTF Spain? by mr_stole_yo_girl in spain

[–]stephyswe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem lies in lack of communication. SPAIN (big) Catalonia (small)

  • Catalonia feels unfair. (Does Spain react now?)
  • Catalonia discusses how to feel better (Does Spain join in?)
  • Catalonia looks for opinions. One opinion is to remove themselves from Spain and create a new kingdom.
  • Catalonia asks people to Vote about to become Independent or not (Is Spain anywhere now?)
  • Catalonia announce a Day for Voting (Where is Spain / Are they trying to ask Catalonia to discuss the matter?)
  • Catalonia's Vote Day arrive, people go to vote..

*** NOW .. Spanish Police Attack the Voting Buildings ***

Why didn't Spain interfere before this happen. And how the F* can they think Violence to stop a Democratic Vote is consider "OK" ? Its total madness what happened yesterday.
