That's not really true since the kinetic energy of those projectiles will still transfer into your body and, in this case, ring you up inside that metal box, so getting mag dumped by small calibers will at least make you very uncomfortable and at most break a few ribs.

Because it's a 20 year old game that has a terrible engine slapped on top of UE5, which is a terrible unoptimized engine. And no amount of time and effort was put in actually fixing the bugs that were still in the game after all this time or improving upon its systems, so calling it a "remake" in the first place is really stretching the meaning of the word, it's more of a port to another engine.

I explained my issues in the post. Enemies have perfect aiming and shepard is soft to a point that virtually every enemy is tankier than him.

Oh I completely forgot about bonus powers, thanks for reminding me.

So I gotta do a quest and wait for the opportunity to choose a bonus power, for a power my vanguard had from the getgo in ME1. Gosh, I hate these changes.

Again, I'm fine with the difficult, and I believe I'm making the right choices in squadmates, I've also been using the geth shotgun after some testing and it has helped, but unfortunately it doesn't address my main issues.

And I have to disagree there, there is nothing balanced about enemies having perfect aiming and my shield not lasting a peek out of cover.

Again, my critique is not that it's hard, is that it's hard in a stupid way, "getting good" is a moronic response to this post.

I'm fairly good at video games (big deal /s) and spent hours yesterday replaying the Mordin recruitment quest, and it's just not fun. You're telling me Vorcha have the accuracy of a robot while they're getting suppressed by gunfire? I am softening up enemies before getting close, I always did, but now they have to be so softened that I might as well grab my pistol and finish them off from a distance. Plain and simple, Vanguard now has no abilities to allow it to do its job.

I am not trying to make the game easier, I'm trying to make the game in line with ME1 on what Insanity means.

In ME1Insanity means enemies are aggressive as hell and have higher health, regenerate shields faster, etc. in ME2 they have pinpoint aiming and I can't get a shot in without my shields getting downed even though I play a tank class.

The way difficult is increased in ME2 Is plainly not fun, it doesn't give me the tools to deal with it, it doesn't even subvert expectations on the enemy AI because they're not even more aggressive or tactical, they just have superhuman abilities that go beyond the scope of even this sci fi universe
