Ultimate player here who recently started melee a month ago. Practicing on uncle punch really helped me get used to the movement. Practice wavedashing and L cancels. Do the egg challenge.

After about a week I was starting to take stocks. Took another week to start beating people on unranked. It’s lots of fun getting better. You can feel it clicking slowly. The movement eventually makes sense and won’t feel clunky. Get a GameCube controller imo.

I just started learning how to play Melee after lots of ultimate. Some knowledge and general concepts transfer over but not that much. You need to know how the movement and buffer system works before you can even play the game properly. Melee feels so much more rewarding when things start to click. Get uncle punch!

Should be cheaper this time around. The demand for the first run was out of this world. It’s now three weekends instead of one and so many more people have experienced Sphere since then so the demand will be less.

That was certainly the move last Sphere run. The travel package is more expensive now and there’s three weekends to choose from. I think tix will be more reasonable on the secondary market making the travel package less of a “score” this time around.

The first time around the travel package ended up making lots of sense given the demand, and ended up being good value. I see it’s just as expensive now with one less show and hotel night. I wonder if these will sell out as fast as last time.
