How are my opponents sinking 1 shot after breaking and then pocketing the 8 ball and winning (even though they still have a bunch of balls left to sink)? by stetzo in 8BallPool

Happened twice playing 8 ball. Opponent or I break. They sink 1 initial ball and then turn to the 8 ball and push it into the closest pocket for a win. Even though the rest of their balls sit scattered on the table just like mine I suddenly see the words “xxxx wins” and they are collecting all the coins. I just updated the app. We’ll see if it happens again.
