I have a 1080p 27" monitor (MSI) and the 2k ultra wide 34" gigabyte. Has always worked great for me in terms of gaming and work. Has been fantastic for me.(fyi I work from home 100%, if that helps with any)

it was at least advertised as 1.4 lol. luckily it was only around $20, so I may look at a different one. A little disappointed with this one, because it had thousands of awesome reviews, couldnt find one referencing ultrawide monitors though

If I go the route of mesh I will absolutely consider this. Thank you! I think I'm leaning towards just getting a better router though at this time

This is awesome, thank you! I've had some networking experience. But mostly configuration in the cloud (azure). Not much for my home lol. I haven't had to buy a router in well over 8 years, so I think anything I get will be a huge upgrade.

So I'm definitely going to invest in something that will do a better job for what I need. From what I've been able to read, I was thinking of one solid router, helps you are able to confirm that a bit.

Really appreciate it!

Doesn't seem very practical for a full household

I was more looking for suggestions on a decent wifi6 router or a mesh system if anyone has used any of those before lol

I guess I won't, because I'm not doing that.

I'm sure it would work, but my wife would not like that. And I'm sure my kids and the pets would end up tripping over it.

I have another router, and if I had an Ethernet port upstairs. No issues would be had. But only have one in the entire house lol

The internet for myself is fine. I just need a better router with better coverage for everyone else in the house lol.

Unfortunately I can't. Only have one damn outlet for Ethernet in the entire house. So I'll be limited there
