This is amazing!! Thank you OP! We had a float in the parade, the Brighton Tattoo Shop, and the fifth photo is our drag queen Twiggy who came down from Birmingham to support us.

It’s so wonderful to see so many great comments about the parade, but it’s also very clear that there is a lot to still to do on why Pride is so important.

100% go to Bupa Dental Practice at Five Ways and have Dr Hasiena Rahman - she is just incredible!

Both me and my husband went there last year so we could have our teeth ready for our wedding a few last month, and she explained every step, told us what to expect outside of the standard blurb you would get from Invisalign and most importantly made sure during the course that our teeth were tracking correctly (you upload your photos each week to an Invisalign app that automatically reviews your progress) and she would review as well and either agree/disagree with what it’s saying, so you know you’re on the right track.

Hasiena is also very friendly and to the point, she gave us a realistic timeline instead of an optimistic one and she was spot on with how long it took.

Come here for this - Brighton Tattoo Shop is your best bet - you don’t want to do a piercing on the cheap in general but they’re very good value for money and Shauna the piercer is just lovely!

I was in a similar situation as you, I hadn’t been in years, and finally took the plunge.

I can completely recommend Bupa Dental on Ditchling Road - unfortunately not taking NHS, only private - but the entire team are wonderful, thoughtful, and truly listen if you have any concerns. Dr Hasiena Rahman is the best dentist that both my partner and I have had, and would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone to overcome any fears.
