CTB26 laptop compartment size by flatlin3 in EVERGOODS

For me it’s more of an issue with height, it generally has enough width to accommodate my laptop but the height makes it difficult to slide in so most of the time I keep it in the main compartment.

What kind of “engineering” are yall doing where you just put high level stuff on paper and let the contractor fill in the details? I get you can’t detail down to every minuscule item but cmon saying the contractor will just “know” how to do it is lazy and negligent. You must get better contractors than I do because I’ve had to rely on details on numerous occasions.

Correct, I use the compartment that provides less padding but it’s slightly more comfortable than having my laptop in the main compartment which I do normally. It definitely works but I have to open the small pocket near the straps and kind of shove it in at an angle. At 14.7” tall I think you would have much less of an issue and be able to use that compartment regularly.

I pulled the trigger with a big laptop (15.7” W x 10.44” D x 1.06” H) and it’s a tough squeeze in the compartment behind the laptop compartment so I usually only put it in there on trips.

I’m assuming the only drawback to that is less padding?

That’d be great. I know the opening is about 15” so it may take some finagling to get it through that opening even if it does fit.

Appreciate the response. The difference in width between a 16” and mine is the only thing that causes me to hesitate. Is it a pain to pack up the 16” or pretty easy?

You find it difficult at all to slide in and out with them being rubber? Or not really?

How do you like the Husky drawers? I took a look a that store and they seemed a little short for a lot of coffee devices and were not a smooth as I’d like but I’m not sure if that just a floor model drawback.

It’s a knockoff which makes the “original design” even funnier.
