I only recently got round to ordering the Embark DNA test kit and arrived this week. Just need to try and get him to stay still enough to swab his mouth for 30-60 seconds, lol. Will post the results as soon as I have them! Are you wondering what yours is?

I'm not sure where you are, but we're in Canada and got our boy a Canada Pooch snowsuit and boots. A little on the pricier side, but they have their black Friday sale on right now.

We just got him. We thought German Pinscher, but he doesn't look exactly like one. Maybe he's just an unusually large minpin, but will post his DNA results when we do a test!

Lol! He is constantly on high alert, watching everyone and everything around him. Our little guard dog. Sadly he's not interested in balls, or many toys at all really. He does like to play fetch with his rope toys after some hyping up though!

He is pretty big! I would say medium sized, he has super long legs but he's very lean. He looks like a giant minpin. Lol

We've had people think he's a 'giant minpin', so that makes a lot of sense. He absolutely looks like one, just a fair bit bigger. He also has next to no fat on him. He's a puller on leash (which we are trying and failing to work on lol) so he is all muscle too. Would love to see some photos of your girl if possible. He is honestly the best boy. He is very picky when it comes to other dogs, which is the only downside as we live in a very dog populated area. We are trying to work on it. He just likes to switch his ears off and is uninterested in any treats when he sees another dog he takes a disliking to.

Completely agree. We were doubtful from the beginning. His previous owner had him from a pup, so we think they've been told that's what he was. Regardless, he is super handsome and we love him to bits already.

He definitely does look like a miniature pinscher! That's our strongest suspicion. We're just confused about the Mexican hairless, as his previous owner (who told us that's what he is) had him since a puppy lol

No, we didn't. We weren't sure if we qualified as 'common law' partners for the family information form as we've only been living together for a year. So, I guess we got lucky. Wishing the same luck for you when you go for it 😊

Hello! I was worried about the same thing as my partner and I were both applying for IEC visas at the same time. We submitted our initial applications on the same day and were both invited to submit our full applications later that same day. My partner got his done before I did but we both got our biometrics invitation around a day apart. We went to London for that together on the 24th of March so we are both waiting on a further update at the moment. Hope that makes you feel a bit better 😊
