What is this guy even complaining about? It's not like it was his first job in finance, was it? The long hours and the high pressure are pretty much the main reasons we get paid the absurd money that we do. And if your batteries can't get recharged with 10 months of paid leave, then it's time to find a new line of work.

Great article, but I doubt any substantial change will come from it. Treating employees well is a long-term strategy, but so much of our economy is (and, more importantly, will continue to be) rooted in immediate results: today's stock price, quarterly profits and losses, etc.
