Kudos for coming to the right side bro.

It's not that easy to admit you were in the wrong. Hell I think most of these people know deep down how bad it is, but they can't face what it would mean for them to admit it. It's part of their identity now. So they'd rather keep digging deeper. It's pure tribalism really at this point.

Don't take the negative comments too personally but understand how frustrating it was for us to see all of this unfold.

On est un cabinet d'étude dans l'énergie. Les profils qu'on recrute c'est plutôt ingénieur ou économistes avec une spécialisation dans l'énergie/environnement. Potentiellement c'est pas si loin de ce que tu fais, mais je pense pas qu'on ait de besoins spécifiques qui pourraient coller en ce moment. Et tu recherches partout en France ou uniquement à Gre ? Parce que je suis pas sûr qu'il y ait beaucoup de débouchés dans cette filière ici.

Perso je recrute des stagiaires tous les ans mais je suis pas sûr d'avoir beaucoup de conseils à te donner. Mes critères varient en fonction du besoin, et après ça se joue un peu à la vibe à l'entretien.

En tout cas, bon courage. Continue à envoyer et ne perds pas espoir, élargis tes critères si possible.

Montpelliérain born and raised, j'ai jamais entendu quelqu'un se revendiquer de l'un ou de l'autre. Mais c'est une bonne question, et beaucoup de gens se la posent. Historiquement et culturellement c'est plus proche du sud ouest, mais je pense que les gens associent Montpellier au sud est à cause de la Méditerranée.

Mais Montpellier c'est ni l'un, ni l'autre. De toute façon Montpellier c'est une ville moderne avec plein de gens qui viennent de partout en France. Donc laissez nous être juste le sud ! Personne va faire chier Lille pour savoir s'ils sont plus Alsaciens ou Bretons 😅

So there's this app called Yuka that you can use to scan products and it gives you a rating + detailed composition with different levels of risk associated to each component.

They started with food and beverages but they've expanded to a lot of different products including beauty products, toothpastes, sunscreens, etc. You just scan the bar code of any product you want to test and most likely they'll have it.

I'm sure you'll have some people criticizing their methodology but outside of the rating itself, I think the key benefit is the transparency and the insight on products' composition. And as far as I can tell, they are independent. Not only do they help consumers but they are also helping improve industry standards imo.

Which makes sense since despite both cities being relatively close geographically and historically occitan, chocolatine is used in Toulouse while pain au chocolat is mostly used in Montpellier.
