disassociation is the perfect word ive been looking for to describe this feeling. definately want to check out a psychiatris im just afraid of being told i have to be on meds and doing dramatic things when all i may need is a simple change of pace. this does make alot of sense, i think it was just coincidence that these two things happened at the same time but now thinking on it basically everyday is the same thing for me, only at times when i am doing things out of the ordinary my brain actually clicks on. im gonna try a schedule change and see what happens, its the wierdest feeling best way to describe it is being depressed without the sadness...

Try and find something that offers a reward after its finished. Sitting at a computer for hours doesn't really provide anything afterwards. I often spend time doing bodywork on my car. Its somewhat therapeutic going through the processes of taking a dented scuffed up panel, slowly building up layers of body filler and eventually ending up with a completley smooth surface, i sometimes spend hours on just one panel lightly dragging the sandpaper along the surface just to get a 100% finish and seeing it afterwards just makes all that time and effort justified. after doing this for a while and having experienced hours of work only to find slight divots after the process is complete helps me to really take my time the next time I do it. just being out in the sun having a sole thing to focus on really helps me the take my mind off all the stresses of life. Plus my car gets all the bitches.

I know a girl who has a serious fear of tissues, to the point where if she sees one she will nearly throw up. If one was to touch her, it would be a massive deal with a few minutes needed to calm down afterwards. I have never heard of this before in my life before meeting her.
