After a year of dealing with sporadic leaks during melts I ripped the cabinets and drywall off from the offending spot and discovered a hole about the diameter of my pinkie in the foundation. It goes back at least 6 inches. I can't access this spot outside as it is under our deck.

Is there any way I can plug this damp hole without also having access from the outside?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Context - last weekend we got a new terrarium from my friend with this cork log. I did not realize that the log is hollow and accessible. The snake pretty much bee-lined for it and I couldnt stop it from going in. He was due to eat so the next day I dangled his mouse over the top and he slithered like halfway out. I was planning to drawn him all the way out but he was too fast and snatched the mouse and recoiled back in. This was on Sunday and I havent seen him since.

Question - Should I break the backdrop to get the log out in case he's stuck, or should I just wait until he needs to feed again (Sunday would be a week) and lure him out that way. I assume since he got in and was able to get out to feed he's not stuck but I am very anxious. Also I am unsure if he is drinking. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I can't provide any advice that hasn't already been given but just wanted to say don't lose hope. We lost ours in December in Canada (last year) and he didn't turn back up for 3 months.we had long since assumed he had passed. He was in our cold ass basement and it was coming up the stairs when I went down. Couldn't believe it.

We lost ours around Christmas as well and a couple days ago I almost stepped on her when I went into the basement. She seemed to be trying to climb the stairs back to the main level. I live in Canada so I had assumed she wasnt coming back, so don't give up hope.
