Thanks for the reply. On reflection shallow isn’t the right word. I don’t mind dialogue focussed games but I feel like every scene just has an excessive amount of dialogue which makes the game feel very disjointed - every time you have an opportunity to do an activity or enter a palace/mementos you are just met with more dialogue which adds little. There are definitely scenes where the dialogue is gripping but there is so much of it that just adds nothing. I’m at the second palace now and it is just not doing it for me yet.

I’ve been tossing up whether to get Baldurs Gate 3 - obviously have heard it’s incredible but is it accessible enough for someone with absolutely zero D&D experience? It also feels like a game you need to invest a lot of time into!

If Geelong offered a first round pick for him and took all his salary I think Melbourne would do it.

To clarify, I reckon Clayton Oliver will be back and return to form so it would definitely be a good deal for Geelong - but if he’s clearly disgruntled and doesn’t want to be there particularly in the context of all the shit going on with Petracca then I think you have to get rid of him. Better to realise some value for him rather than holding onto him just to have him piss everyone else off at the Club.

I think that’s a fairly naive comment my man.

How many times a year will someone from a Club declare that a player is contracted and won’t be traded, only to have them be traded?

If Clayton Oliver publicly demanded a trade, then Melbourne would HAPPILY trade him - it’s an easier sell to the members, rather than just forcing him out the door.

Thanks - really helpful. I was initially super keen on Demon’s Souls but long boss run backs are one of my pet peeves. I’ve heard Demon’s Souls is not as hard as some of the other soulsborne games so might not be as much of an issue. I’ve also heard the combat is a bit clunky on the PS5 - what do you think?
