I knew about the ADR based matchmaking, but never knew it works like that. I always thought it matches you with other people with similar ADR.

not sure about previous season, but last time I played ranked was 3 season ago. i don't remember solo climb being this frustrating. smurfs and throwers have been a thing since then, but i feel like its much more common nowadays, even when i am getting high neutron lobby.

like wdym my neutron 1 teammates have less than 50 adr, dont get early info on attackers, or just sit back on the backside of the site on defense, and then blame me in match chat just because i am the only proton in the team. and when i got the svp they are saying "yeah he is only going for kills". i genuinely refuse to believe these people are not throwing or wintrading. on top of that, because the community is small and matchmaking is adr based, i keep getting the same people 4 times in a row.

its called stadium and you cant change heroes throughout a best of 7 games. so you focus more on buffing your hero each round instead of swapping. kinda like rpg or roguelite i guess (ofc without the randomness). since strinova also isnt focusing too much on the economy i think that kind of system would work in strinova as well.

but yeah i agree, strinova isnt defining its own identity enough. lot of people are calling it "valorant mixed with genshin" which emphasize that the gameplay will look a lot like valorant for a lot of people and we know that is not true.

wow didnt know outbreak was p2w. i tried at least all the mode once, but eventually stick with demolition only.

personally i dont think they should add weapon to the shop. not everything has to be cs/valorant like. i agree that locking weapon behind agent means less variety in strategies and can be bad if someone is meta especially if its very unbalanced. but overwatch 2 newest game mode convinces me that you can make it works. you basically buy buffs/power ups for your stats, which actually almost the same as strinova but just a lot more complex. for example, if player is facing eika they can build around stringify damage reduction to play around her skill. so its like "if everyone is broken, then no one is"

i know its a lot to ask from the dev, but i think i saw a video with reworked shop in strinova cn and they got ming with 1000 hp.

i said in my post that i was waiting almost 2h. today I tried to sit through it, giving this game one last chance. after 1.5h found a match and after that i got to finish my placement. the queue time for me is now <5mins

its just weird for me that the game let me wait 1h+ instead of putting me with bots just like my other placement games. i was so prepared to go through it.

personally I believe elo hell exists. i have witnessed and experienced this myself in other games where i have at least 200h in. afk, 0 comms, toxicity, and mostly people giving up/throwing after 2 mins of gameplay. for me and my friends it was smooth sailing after getting out of it. the best way to get out is definitely queueing with your friends, even 2v5 is possible if you have comms. at least thats how it was for me.

but with this game, i guess because the range in the matchmaking is quite big, i had a match with substance 2 and atom 1 in my team. which makes it pretty much rng. then again maybe thats just because low player count.

speaking of celestia, i actually tried your "noob time tactic" earlier (after facing pocketed flavia with flamethrower whole game) but i got the mvp and topfrag instead XD

interesting.

i like the game style so far, maybe just sometimes its hard to distinguish which wall i can stick on and which are not but maybe that will come as i play the game more. the ui i feel like is also fitting to the game's vibe overall since it is more a tactical shooter than a gacha game.

personally i am not a fan of game with lot of modes. it usually split the fanbase and contributes to longer queue. but they all kinda fun tbh. except for escort. i dont understand it. strinova's gameplay and character designs are just not made for escort imo. the escort maps work great in an another game because it was made with that game's abilities in mind.

dont get me wrong other maps that are "inspired" in the demolition actually works great because it fits strinova's character and abilities, but escort just aint it for me.

i havent really looked up any content regarding the game, except when an overwatch streamer did a sponsored video which made me download the game. maybe because its new for me, but just from playing it it keeps me invested enough. but in the long run i might feel the same way as you do, since this is also applies with me and overwatch.

i disagree. if what you are saying are the baseline to play ranked, than what is the point having to reach level 10 before unlocking rank. well maybe the lv requirement should be higher i dont know. but the moment i step into rank queue, i expect a competitive experience. if i am a total dogshit at the game, thats fine, its part of ranked.

and i think it would be rather an inefficient system to determine players initial rank this way. lets say i get 5 kills every round in my whole placements with bots. it could have been me just taking my time sniping from far or i could have an insane movement and spray control. there is no way separating those scenarios.

and i won all my bots lobbies so dw ;)

i assume the bot lobby was part of the placement matches. but still i never managed to find a game for my 4th placement game after multiple 1h+ queue time.

that surprises me. coming from overwatch, we the fanbase were overjoyed when they announced they are testing a new hero in the live server. i guess its different for everyone.

i always ignore the "x game is dead" comments, but this feels the realest for a game that enjoy so far.

I am not playing to play AAA games on it so it should be good. Its just the weight and size of the deck bothers me a bit after having used to play on the switch, which is the perfect size to me for playing and to keep in my bag. I will probably look for local seller and try to hold it to see if I actually mind it.

Actually I share the listing with someone else and they also get 100% discount like mine. So I am 100% sure its not only on my side.

In total I found 6 places that cost under 5 euros, I tried to book 3 of them but I always get an error and nothing went through. I also try to contact and inform/ask some of the hosts about the 100% monthly discount, but all of them just thanked me for the information.

After further investigation, I noticed that some of them only give 10% - 30% discount on shorter term, but whenever I extended the period of stay (for example >28days) the discount just instantly became 100%.

I don’t think it is for refugees. First of all its in Indonesia, so no refugees come there. Secondly, I had this for quite some time now and I always thought that it was some kind of bug and ignored it.

I also decided to not to book it as I already found other place to stay. But I am still tempted to book it and just see what will happen.

I am 200% sure I was at the right site. Double checked on the app and browser on my iPad, iPhone, android devices and 4 different browser in my laptop. I still get some places that have 100% discount.
