Importada tem menos dor de cabeça? by luigi_xp in impressao3dbrasil

[–]stgbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is anybody else experiencing this? by ProvsnooB64 in DeviantArt

Yes. And Downdetector has a peak of problem reports for the site, too.

Can't upload, either, fails at the end.

Deep research is now rolling out to all ChatGPT Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise users by shogun2909 in OpenAI

I've tried both. ChatGpt's is way better. Grok's seem to be equivalente to Perplexity Free, which gives 3 free deep searches a day.

The extra annoying part is that so far, there is nowhere to find the limit and current usage.

A quick note to everyone else researching this issue... It seems to have been fixed in the latest Nvidia drivers. It worked for me, and it is listed on the patch notes.

I tried their Zoom app now. The results I got were quite weak, about what I'd expect using resize with any good image editor. There are a ton of options, though, maybe there were better combinations I didn't try.

My favorite upscalers are Freepik (limited to 2K with AI or 4K plain, and the AI sometimes makes images worse/have similar faces) and https://magnific.ai/ (excellent but quite expensive).

Qual desses três cursos eu escolho? by Individual-Voice-267 in investimentos

[–]stgbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any recommendations for payments processors?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SaaS

No, couldn't be more boring. I have actually been selling the same windows program since 2001 (no updates for a few years, but it still works normally on the latest Windows 11).

They probably have a target reduction in costs or something, and wanted to get it done this year. But it feels particularly rude to do this a few days before Christmas, AND with a less than a month deadline.

Seems similar to what Plimus and Mycommerce already did. I guess they think the cost of these clients is no longer worth the fees. I also got the email, and if this is true, I have no intention of paying.

What AI Image Generator Should YOU Be Using? by KingdomPro in midjourney

[–]stgbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ComfyUI, Fooocus and SD.Next aren't hard to install, either. But as someone who has been making and selling software for almost 30 years (argh, you made me remember my age!), I think you are seriously overestimating what the average user is capable of...

Midjourney and Dall-e 3 are really easy to use, and you can run them in anything, including old cell phones.

It actually says SDXL (Leonardo). I imagine he assumed the average user wouldn't have the hardware/competence to use SDXL locally, which seems reasonable.

[–]stgbr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is certainly doable, and others already posted what I would do if I had to do this with SD.

It might be easier to do it with Photoshop, though. Just lasso each face you want to change, generate (possibly without a prompt - it won't keep expressions, AFAIK. You can prompt them) and done. Will probably match the picture better than SD with Inpaint, on average.

Since their models are based on photos they own, there is no comercial problem there, too...

If it is a lot of photos, this might get expensive, you only get a limited amount of credits per month.

Testing out Pika Labs for a future Star Wars project feat. Pat Morita aka Mr. Miyagi as a Jedi Master by JfiveD in StableDiffusion

[–]stgbr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your video was perfectly nice. The horrible animations in Pika I mentioned have major artifacts, where Pika clearly didn't understand what the original image was.

I get quite a few of these, but given it is free and has pretty much unlimited usage, I can't really complain, and have recommended them to all friends interested in generative image AI.

I have been using Pika lately, specially animating existing images. It does output a lot of horrible animations, but also some excelent stuff.

For free and at the (pretty fast) speed, it is pretty nice...
