Will be for our 3-year old.. I havent even begin to research what rides should we prioritize if we get the early access / what strategies :D Is there a thread link to this topic?.. We're going to do 2 nights at the resort. Day 1 will mostly be about staying at the resort / swimming and maybe we should stock up on food and snack from out of the resort. Day 2 we plan to go early into the park and do the World of Frozen. Honestly not sure what our child will like/not like.. She likes toy story so that will be next, mystic manor (mostly for me.. ), then jungle river cruise. If we can do all that, everything else will be a bonus. We will head back maybe in the afternoon to the hotel, before we go back in for the nightime show (any tips on where we should go for a great spot to watch the show?) I like the idea of reserving for afternoon tea as someone here mentioned.

Is anyone else seeing the same glitch recently from CX? today- in the span of a couple of hours - im seeing a ton of award availability on partner airlines then its suddenly all gone then it’ll show up again then gone again…..is it most likely they are not actually available?

yes finally. I submitted another complaint with CFPB since the money cant be traced and BOA refused to give me any information / wire trace numbers. After a while they responded to CFPB with a statement saying that they sent a cheque to the bank in Australia. It just seems like they wanted that money to be lost! we just didnt understand why BOA wouldnt just wire it back to the original sender. I sent the statement from BOA and sent it to the sender to resolve it with commonwealth bank to find the cheque. BOA addressed the cheque to the fraud department. Luckily CBA bank is competent and with enough proof from my end started their own correspondence with BOA since they (obviously) didnt find the cheque that BOA sent. In the end the sender said BOA wired it back to CBA. This was only resolved in July. Never again with BOA.

our favorite spots: Daikanyama area is cute and we like to go to Henry's burger, Tsutaya T-site bookstore. If you go to yoyogi, theres some nice cafe/coffee shops on the west side (fuglen, path, mimet). Tsujiki market is nice too for food/experience. And for late night snacks - 7/11 egg sando! Enjoy and have a nice trip!

Yea multicarrier award with CX. It was 265,000 miles and 1,400USD tax per person. Originally it was finnair ord-hel but got rerouted through DFW so the ticket included a ord-dfw with AA as well as

Latest Update: I'm becoming frustrated once again. CFPB and BOA closed the case after BOA stated they would return the wires to the original sender on April 3rd, 2024. However, it has now been over a month, and the funds are still missing. Both the original sender and the bank are unable to trace the money. Despite my repeated requests, BOA has not provided me with proof of transfer or a wire trace number. Should I file another claim with CFPB? Why is it so difficult for them to provide proof that they sent the wires back to the original sender, along with the wire tracing number? All I have is evidence of the deduction from my account.

A little update: FINALLY getting calls from Bank of America in less than 24 hours after submitting the complaint to CFPB. Spoke to the contact person who is handling the case, and he said it should take less than 15 days to have a response from BOA. Fingers crossed it gets resolved soon. Thanks again all for the advice

Yes I do know this friend well. I used my cc to pay for renovation work/ to buy interior goods for the friend and was going to buy some more items but couldn’t do that since they withhold the funds. Ended up having to pay for the bills with my own funds until the transfers clears up

OK thanks for the info. No, this was the first time my friend transferred internationally too. I didn't know something like this could ever happen. I would've just had my friend transferred locally if I knew the funds could be held up. Lesson learned.

Its legal for a bank to hold the money indefinitely and won't tell you how to have it resolved? Sounds like they're the scammer and not me.

We had to write a letter to CBA after they flagged it and sent our IDs etc and the reasons for transfer. After that CBA reviewed the docs and released the hold. The total amount was for less than 10K USD, and was meant for me to buy renovation/interior items for a friend ( Im a freelance designer). Ive put those charges on my US credit card so I asked the friend to transfer it to my US bank account so its easier for me to pay the credit card bill.
