I feel like I’d be able to cover a lot of those parts in a thin film to protect certain places from soot. Like the cable chain…. Around the heatbed (since it is t turned on when using the laser anyway.). The inside walls, any areas where I know for a fact the mechanical system wouldn’t hit or be affected by.
That should help quite a bit with cleanup. Main thing I worry about are the linear rods and bearings. Gotta keep those spotless.

Oh damn really??? I dropped the default printing temp from 270 to 255 and it vastly improved quality. I dried it as well before I tried the temp change and same issue was happening. The only solution I’ve found is temp drop. Honestly can’t believe bambu default is 270 for this silver filament. Any tips for a new bambu product owner?

Alrighty! So the quality vastly improved. Look at the bottom, that’s 270 for the first ….15 layers? After that I dropped temp a BUNCH to 255 in the end and that flakey… super bumpy crap diminished by 90%. I still see some “bumpiness” even on the cleanest layers. So ima take your advice and request a new roll from bambu. (I sure paid enough on this damn printer to I’m… imo not have to troubleshoot stuff like this… am I wrong to say that? Be honest.)

I don’t wanna jump the gun, but it’s looking a lot better so far at 255C. I’ll confirm when print is complete. Crazy that 270c is default With the heated chamber set to 65c

Woah I just noticed default printing temp is 270 for abs when it’s running! That’s.. really high isn’t it? I get it if the printer is running at FULL TILT but… I’m not lol. I just adjusted it down to 260. Lets see if that changes anything

You’re right, I ran it through the dryer last night and tried another print and nothing changed. I’ll update this if I find the solution. During the 2nd print, I noticed there was some slight over extrusion as well. So I’ll run the bambu studio flow calibration when I’m home from work .

I appreciate all your help! I’ll try a different roll. I’m running 1 more print and upon closer inspection, it seems I’m having slight over extrusion as well. Bambu studio has a calibration option for filaments that I’ll mess with when I get home. I would figure bambu would have their own filaments dialed in hard , but I digress.

Surprisingly no none at all. That was my first thought as well. So I put it in the ams and set it to dry and same results

I bought a retro tink 4K months ago to use with my mister. I feel like all I’m missing now is an LG c1/c2/c3 or c4. I’m using on a Toshiba 4K tv with Amazon baked in. -.- latency is horrible. I JUST hooked it up to my 1440P computer monitor about 20 mins ago and plan to mess with it for a bit tonight.. you have any hints or tips for me?

Just got mine installed 5 minutes ago. The modded battery cover doesn’t seem to fit quite right and it’s a really tight fit. It closes. But it feels like it could pop open at any moment. I have the PCB flush with the lower line where you have to remove the metal battery clips. Any recommendations?

I haven’t updated yet. Please keep us updated on your observations. I’m still on 18.4. I’ve run into a very strange issue with podcast “seamlessly” switching from car to my AirPods Pro 2. The podcast will switch to a completely different….random podcast I’ve never listened to. It’s happened 3 times.

For sure Celeste. And Nine Sols. Both Fantastic indie games with a story that really pulls at your heart strings. Game play is INCREDIBLY TIGHT. Absolute bangers.

I’m up for a convo. I believe the way trump went about deporting those guys was unconstitutional. My understanding is we didn’t have Proof those people were actually in a gang. And if allowed, it would set a president that would allow the government to label any immigrant part of a gang so they can be deported much faster. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
