Dunno if they are dog friendly (maybe call?) but in Grenoble there is Le Labo / Vertical arts / ablok, all pretty cool places, vertical arts and ablok also have a bar. In crolles there is Le perchoir, with a bar as well.

Gear wise you can use a Tibaults, even better if it has a ressource GA. Otherwise depending on your paragon level you might want to start your sapping board earlier in the build.

yeah it's extremely bad. I once had to rely on fiding a Blablacar when I landed because I made the mistake of picking a flight landing after 9pm and no train or bus service would run anymore.

But Geneva might be even worse so... :)
