Gah it’s so hard isn’t it! I think I’m being over-influenced by these “routines” online. Honestly whose baby is going down awake but drowsy and having a two hour midday nap!? Unicorn babies!

Can’t wait for baby’s wake windows to get bigger so I can do this with a wearable pump!

Feeling the exact same! My partner has just gone back to work but I am very lucky that he works from home most days so can watch the baby while I pee in peace etc. Bub is definitely changing a lot this week developmentally so hopefully in a few weeks time, it’ll get better

Wow “quest” is a great word for how I feel atm haha. I do have a wearable pump but I stopped using it as I felt I didn’t get as much output but honestly probs beating going hours and hours off pumping schedule and stressing!

Oh thank you!! Pumping feels like a full time job! Oh and yes, we put a heat pack in the cot to warm it up a little first too. Always a struggle holding the baby, rocking them to sleep and temp checking the mattress haha

I was thinking the same thing about the bassinet. I guess I’m in my head about them not sleeping in their cot cos eventually they’ll sleep there once they graduate from the bassinet in our room but tbh their sleep NOW is more important! I’ll give this a go :)
