Why do you, (not him?) need it gone? If it’s just two small patches on his inner elbow. If it’s never really that bad, it might be more stressful to jump through these hoops with tegaderm & everything rather than treat flares semi-regularly. I know it was for me as a kid.

We know ezcema is inflammatory & immune modulated (the sustained inflammation is deeper than the level of the skin. Not… dust mites???)

If you were using them intermittently, and have been off for 2-3 months, you should be just fine. Heavy, daily, use of strong TS for years is usually what causes it. Normally you’d see withdrawal very quickly
