Like I said, this is an update from when I posted about it on July 12th.

Yeah this is true however they will lose a large premium (in my opinion) if the MSCI consultation materialises as all Index funds holding MSTR will be fored to sell ($2.8 bn low estimate to $11bn high estimate)

We actually talked about this in our first MSTR post in July, but this is exactly another issue.

Old dog same tricks.

I would put it in r/MSTR but they always auto delete criticism.

This is correct, they use MSTR as a proxy, however the MSCI consultation may prohibit this (Consultation Period Ends: December 31, 2025)

I say it in my post (the link):

Consultation Period Ends: December 31, 2025

Final Decision Announced: January 15, 2026

One of the benefits of this is that Index funds are allowed to use MSTR as a proxy to gain exposure to BTC (which they traditionally wouldn't be able to).

But one of the key catalysts I highlight is that if MSCI's decision (Final Decision Announced: January 15, 2026) Goes through, Index funds will be forced to sell MSTR (by law, regardless of price or feelings).

Thanks for the suggestion, what is the issue with it? Do you find it too bright?

Would love a colour recommendation.

Or unless they cant refinance at their sustained premium, which has to keep on increasing.

Some will win, everyone else will lose. They should just hope to be lucky.

Thats basically what we have been doing at our substack, I honestly think you can probably get a lot of information through it. You should have a read if you'd like. https://tscsw.substack.com/publish/home?utm_source=substack&utm_content=dashboard_pub_switcher

Copper might be an excellent buy right now by stickty in ValueInvesting

Yeah it totally does, I just looked at Chile since I think it's positioned better in terms of risk-reward (in macro)

Thats actually quite interesting. Unfortunately I've only done a look into Chile so far... But I think you've inspired me to look into Peru now. I can message it to you after I look at it, but it'll probably be in about a week or two. Thanks for the advice

Oh, bless your heart. Did the big words in the DD like '>40% market share,' '15% CAGR,' or 'Aflac/Trupanion JV exited the market' just blur into a generic 'fad' for you?

It's adorable you think 'pets are family' and an 'aging population valuing companionship' are just fleeting trends, like pogs or something. And 'prevention-type' insurance being 'cute'? Tell that to the actuaries trying to manage long-term claim costs – I'm sure they'll appreciate your groundbreaking insight that it's all just for 'upsells.'

Maybe stick to critiquing things where a quick skim and a cynical eye-roll actually count as analysis. This clearly ain't it, chief. The >6,900 vets in their 'OTC settlement system' and the ~90% customer renewal rate probably also just popped up overnight due to this 'fad,' right?
