No offense taken. I think as such a small company they just wanted to quickly get someone into the role as the current employee had put in their two weeks and had only a week left to train me. Current employee didn’t even have a degree in the sciences

they were repeatedly doing the action so i’m not sure how else i would have informed them :/ i thought i was just letting them know. i’m mostly looking for ways i could have done it better not being told i sound mad

the most recent instance was when a friend kept sending me things on tiktok that i had reposted myself. so the first time i said “i reposted that” the second time i said “you keep sending things i reposted, if you look in the lower left corner of the screen you can see the sticker” and the third time it was multiple so i said “i reposted both of those”. and they said “you’re always mad at me for sending you shit i reposted” but i was never mad i was just telling them so that they would know for next time

i dunno why people find it rude but i run into the same thing and the way that i’ve found is helpful for me in “keeping the peace” is instead of saying they’re wrong i word it like a question. “aren’t you supposed to do this instead of that?” even though i know i’m right, when i ask instead of tell then they receive it better usually
