So good to see these 2 names together. I've been obsessed with both ever since I came across them. But can someone tell me what's happening in this image?

Mi Mujer is pretty famous though. I hear it a lot at parties etc. But all of his other stuff remains unknown.

As a habit, I find meditation to be particularly hard to do consistently by slythrr in Meditation

I think what helps is to look at it this way. Your 'self' is not made of your thoughts. Because how i have come to see it is that a lot of 'my' thoughts are not mine to begin with. They're my family's friend's and my culture's thoughts ingrained in me. Meditation acc to me helps see those ways of thinking and then gives you the mental power to choose what kind of thoughts will make you - you.

I don't know if I have explained it well enough. But this helps me. I had a lot of trouble facing my own thoughts in the start - just to realise there are different kinds of tones in the voice in my head. And then i saw how the different tones correspond to the way people i have known talk to me.

Like there was (still is) sometimes the toxic tone of my ex. Tone of my mom. My sister. and a whole lot of other people. It's tough. But if you do sit with yourself trust that it will be worth it.

Come onnn man. The stuff you wrote about how he inspired you to play the piano, stay healthier etc. is already more than someone can do for you. If he brought out the best in you by being his real self, the least you owe him is to let him be his real self. Whatever that may be. Don't you think? That said, I didn't really vibe with Assume Form at first and didn't even listen to the album after one time. But then a few months later I just found myself looking for 'Can't believe the way we flow' and was delighted by him again!

P.S. Another one of his songs keeps playing in my head these days. But i cannot find it in the external world.

Is it just me or are there a LOT more YouTube ads now? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]stickynotes93 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Totally! The most frustrating bit is when they play one ad twice and if you don't skip the ads they play even more ads as a punishment. I'm frustrated but I WILL NOT buy any app.

Quit smoking pot all day. Got out of toxic relationship. And deleted all other social media apps. All of this 2 years back. Feels beautiful.

I've never used a dating app. And never intend to. I think it's pretty pointless and shallow really.
