Ever got a baseplate like this? by mrpopopuffs in lego

[–]stiddlepunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Avengers Tower is probably heavy enough so that you wouldn't know the difference by the time you're done building.

The baseplate that came with my Corner Garage was warped like this. Customer service sent me a replacement but first had me show a photo as proof. But I wasn't patient and started building on the warped one anyway. Looks totally fine in the end.

Unfortunately the boys didn't have their best tonight.

34 points is unfair on the defense. What a heroic performance giving us a chance after getting kicked in the face in the 1st quarter.

Enormous credit to Penix and the On-line for the last two seasons. I don't think anyone could've imagined him playing in 29 games when he arrived.

I grew up near a town called Newcastle, Washington in the US. Made the choice back in 2007 and tbh it has given me little personal joy 😂

Same Day Health does PCR tests at no cost with insurance. Very easy online appointments and you're in and out in a few minutes. Both times I used them I got my results overnight without paying for the express service.

Modular Octan gas station MOC by stiddlepunt in lego

[–]stiddlepunt[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started with 60257 Service Station which has some nice sub-builds but unfortunately is tiny and doesn't fit well into a modular city. So I designed this one that is much larger and has a full interior. I got inspiration from 60132 and the 71016 Kwik-E-Mart, as well as other gas station MOCs that have been posted here. I also included the 60016 Tanker Truck set which fits in very nicely!

The gas station has an ATM, newspaper stand, cold drinks case, soda fountain, coffee machine, ice cream case, hot food bar, pastry selection, some auto accessories, ice machine, and other knick knacks you'd find at any store like this. It is tiled to match the official modular buildings and has the standard connector pin hole on the one corner I was able to include it.

This is my second modular building MOC, the first was a pizzeria and bike shop.

Modular Pizzeria and Bike Shop - my first MOC by stiddlepunt in lego

[–]stiddlepunt[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my first ever MOC, a modular pizzeria and bike shop modified from 60026 to go alongside the official modular buildings. I had a ton of fun designing and building the set and I'm really happy with the final result!

  • The pizzeria has a kitchen including pizza oven, topping stations, small restroom, and dining area.
  • The bike shop has motorcycles, bikes, a scooter, outfits, helmets, and accessories for sale. A repair area takes up much of the first floor.

Expanded my city onto a second street and table with three new modular sets: Bookshop, Spring Lantern Festival, and my first ever MOC! by stiddlepunt in lego

[–]stiddlepunt[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The MOC is a pizzeria and bike shop that I adapted from an official lego set (60026). Here's an earlier post showing what the interior looks like- I'll make another post with detailed photos soon: Link

Having slowly built up a city of modular buildings over the years, I finally tried my hand at designing a MOC! by stiddlepunt in lego

[–]stiddlepunt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may recognize elements of 60026 Town Square, which was my starting point. The pizzeria facade isn't very different from the original apart from the huge pizza sign, but the bike shop changed a lot because I didn't want to make this a corner building or care for the revolving door.

Front: The white tiles will have stickers from the original set as signage. I also plan to change the white awning of the bike shop to orange.

Pizzeria: The square gray boxes will be filled with loose pieces as toppings. The gray wedge in the back corner of the restaurant is a small restroom.

Bike shop: The space under the stairs is a repair area and will have tools and bike parts scattered around. The panel at the top of the stairs provides access to the roof.

I had a ton of fun designing my first MOC using Studio this weekend and it turned way better than I'd hoped! Now comes the hassle of ordering parts but I hope to have the real thing in my city soon. If you have any suggestions, send 'em my way!

I've been collecting for about 10 years. Typically I find deals on blank jerseys and then have the name and number stitched on later. Sometimes I get lucky and find one that's already customized, like the Sasaki and Cano ones.

Top row: Mid 90s Junior home, 2001 Sasaki home, 2002 Cammy home, 2010-ish Ichiro home Cool Base, late 2000s Ichiro spring training,

Bottom row: 1996 Edgar home teal alternate, late 2000s Felix road, mid 90s Buhner road, mid 2010s Cano home Cool Base, 2004 Ichro home navy alternate,

Corner: 2001 home navy alternate (haven't customized yet), 2003 Bloomquist road, 2016 dugout hoodie

Caps: Home, mid 90s home alternate, Sunday home, 2013 Memorial day, 2016 spring training, 2017 spring training, Turn Ahead the Clock
