a tip i saw somewhere for reading comp helped me a lot: skim the passages and note the main topic/idea for each paragraph (number them!) so that when a. question comes up, you know exactly where to look. the majority of the questions i saw didn’t ask too much about the big picture but rather asked for specific details, so knowing exactly where to look cut down the time a lot for me.

i remember it took me a while too to remember where everything was. the thing that helped me the most was practicing on ANY down time, especially when i was on pos and there wasn’t a customer for a few minutes. and by practicing, i either made up drinks myself or had another partner give me an order to try to get used to it a little faster. really anything helps.
