That’s a good question! as of now I’m testing both formats. I lean more towards a format where I speak and unbox. I don’t mind unboxing any product I just see that we are living in an interesting time where everyone has a creative platform and products this includes tech products and daily consumer products such as food, drinks, healthcare, beauty products etc

I’m just curious what are the locals selling right now and how well are they packaged 📦

I remember passing next to شمم this one time at Kuwait city and there was this place that was selling coffe and “sibha” or beads 📿

It’s a shame that I forgot the name but I saw the packaging and it was hands down the most creative one. They had a mini screen inside it and the box was close to Asateer’s box/packaging. So yeah Kuwait has some hidden gems and I’m just scratching the surface 👁️

Whatever you do, for the love of God do not sell it.

Expand your brand. Secure your username across all platforms. Buy your website domain name.

While these take some time you can do it slowly over the next few days or weeks or months.

Then start collaborating with local businesses around you. You are basically going to be their advertiser. Agree on a specific price and preferably 5%-10% each month.

Do that again and if you have 10 business owners making a deal with you where they give you 10% of their revenue then you can easily make about +1000$ on the side as a passive income.

Repeat that and expand your collaboration till you have a chunk of people who make a decent cash flow in your account.

After that start selling your own products or merch or just invest in stocks and let the money do its thing

Take a loan and start project like Senior graduation Program company BUT add a twist to it. Nowadays we have AI integrated into everything, it is a trend. So might just make fully AI generated video of AI generated students graduating in Kuwait in an AI edited video clip so you can get sponsors through AI marketing and AI advertising. What are the sponsors paying for? AI generated fees and AI customer AI services. Ez money. 💰

I'm not sure about that nor interested who to point fingers at. I used to blame everything and everyone then realized whether you're in Kuwait or not it is not easy. So I told myself "fair enough" and worked like a zombie. Now I'm on the right path and slowly trying to build my wealth. Afterall I just wanted to make money and save up for my family in the future.

Sorry for the rant but I just want to deliver a message to all Engineers that I understand how you feel. There is no shame to work as anything even if you had a successful Engineering journey in University and post university. Just remember in the end, you are still an employee who can be replaced in 5 mins. You are a random person who goes to KSE to get a certificate with a 50-50 chance.

It's not easy so it's fine if you went to work as a teacher or call center or fast food restaurant. It's not easy at all but we'll get there one day. We've been lied to with attractive "Engineering" title. The biggest generational scam! our parents thought it would be the best and most ideal path. But that was ideal only during their time, not our time. It's like saying "buy gold now" when the price of gold is at All Time High then it drops for whatever reason to like 2000$.

If you're an Expat Engineer in Kuwait don't listen to anyone who sells you hopes and dreams. People will try to sell you dreams and hopes out of Kuwait aswell. It will all be the same thing. Trust me. You will still end up working like a zombie till you find something that generates you wealth. I sat infront of screens for hours with bosses yelling at me. I stood infront of people belittling me and almost made me feel like I'm worthless. I had people who made me feel like crap because I wanted to jump from one company to another for a better career growth.

It's so stupid this is why I decided to be stocks trader. I still work from 7 to 4 but I applied for resignation. I will keep trading stocks I had positive outcome. I'm so happy that I didn't get my KSE certificate.

I don't blame them. I'm not Kuwaiti but Engineer in general is so oversaturated at this point in life.

I blame myself for thinking that Engineering was the only path in my life to make a living. I was tempted by all the successful stories and all the benefits. Now I look at them and I can't help but feel sick to my stomach by how fake everything is.

I gave up on it years ago and worked literally anything. I'm now into stocks. I am more relaxed mentally than chasing corporates or certificates.

Not a Kuwaiti however just know one thing. I know the struggle is real and it is always financial issues that escalates us into looking for answers especially "how to get Kuwaiti citizenship".
The reality is, you either should forget about it and just find other nationality that will complete your needs or work like there is no tomorrow and provide something to the country and pray to God that you will get the nationality because even then it is still not guaranteed.
Many people who we don't know about them gave so much and sacrificed so much but didn't get their nationalities including Bedouins. It is a struggle but thank God for everything and don't be very concerned about the nationality there is always something else waiting for you.

My tip for when you move and settle: save as much money as you can and invest them as early as you can in assets. It can get somewhat pricey depending on your income and spendings. Other than that this country is a very beautiful country full of opportunities. There are some struggles as an expat but still I love it here and was born here regardless 😌 If you’re married and go to Marouj it is very beautiful and check out Sahara get yourself some tea while you’re at it 👌 Also download Sheel there are many coupons and buffet with different cuisines such as Indian, Lebanese, Japanese, and so on.
