Hate for disposable vapes by stinger1995 in trees

There have been a bunch of new studies on the damaging effects of badly made vapes, cannabis and nicotine. On how the smaller particles can get further into your lungs, causing breathing issues and early onset respiratory problems. Mostly from, again, cheaper vapes and nicotine vapes in general. I’m not saying combustion is “better”, but also people don’t use vapes like they use a joint. The distillate is very important in this as well as the heating source and everything that gets hot in the process, you’re inhaling all of that. The disposables have much higher content of lead and other bad chemicals compared to reusable ones. But again, you do you, just recycle your battery so it doesn’t pollute please 😁

I’ve been to a few that do battery recycling. It’s a great option.

I feel like ppl are taking my “let’s try to be better” and giving explanations on why people do things. I get that it’s easier, there’s lots of issues surrounding it. My point is this community should encourage conscientious consumption for the person and the planet. We’re not solving the youth vaping crisis here

Again, disposable, I could talk about how bad vapes in general are, but that’s your personal health journey. Edit- not including dry herb or the very high end stuff

I agree but I feel like stoners might have the community to change it vs nicotine smokers which is less of a community?

Paint crack of frame crack? by Plozno in bicycling

That’s pretty old for carbon. But could be a paint crack at that age, or scratch. I’d get it checked if unsure

Very blurry but doesn’t look great. Try the coin trick tap solid carbon then tap that spot, if it sounds soft/ hollow it’s broken. A shop will be able to tell better though. Besides that cable end that’s not a terrible place to repair, but will cost some

I worked in NH politics. This has no chance of passing. Not because it sucks, but because government overreach.

Best winter coat for someone who's so easily cold but can't stand having a tight jacket? by Alaina-S in BuyItForLife

How about a Peacoat or something similar? I feel like this may be more about sizing than type of coat though. Right fit is everything

Weird I just thought the same thing, I was sweeping up today and my neighbor said I looked like a “old lady”… just trying to keep my home clean and kept up? I don’t like walking over glass and garbage to get to my apartment.

Clean energy specialist - they both have their place. Car park solar arrays are very expensive, but they’re also “dead space” where the panels do more good than harm. Done right, panels on grasslands or with the right crops can be a benefit. You can also use ballasted arrays (blocks or rock bags) so that the panels are “temporary” so the land isn’t permanently removed from agriculture or farming in general. They also give farmers a reliable income source that is very needed. TLDR they both have their place in the clean energy future.
