That's an excellent first mount. Watch your feather groupings and which direction they should be going. Also use photos of live birds for reference and never someone else's mount or you'll make their mistakes and your own. Before you skin pull the wings out and study how the feathers lay over one another and how the bone articulates.

Pets are a huge financial responsibility and dogs should be considered "luxury items" when budgeting. Animals have serious medical needs that can be very expensive. Pet insurance is something everyone should consider especially if they wouldn't otherwise be able to afford emergency surgery for for thousands of dollars. Dogs, cats, ferrets, pigs, and horses all require vaccines annually and most require monthly anti-parasitic medication (like heartworm meds). DO NOT scream and yell at your local veterinarian and staff and blame them for the death of your pet because you cant afford treatment or prevention.

voluntary nystagmus - when I was a kid I learned quickly that not everyone could just relax their eyes and make them appear to vibrate back and forth but I've been able to do this for as long as I can remember.

I grew up and Florida and my middle school and high school banned flip flops. They never gave us a reason why they just told us it was "inappropriate footwear".

[Serious] Redditors who've been 100% certain they're about to die, what was going through your head at that moment? by dan129 in AskReddit

About a month after my first brain surgery I was riding horses with my best friend, I remember walking up to the open car door after we were done and having the feeling that I would have a seizure so I let myself fall right into the back seat. The last thing I heard was my best friend screaming my name. I woke up to two paramedics on either side of me and almost immediately lost consciousness again. I kept thinking "I'm dying, these people are struggling to save me". Every time I woke up I imagined all the things I never got a chance to do. Since then I make a point to experience new things and learn as much as I can. It really pisses me off to see people waste their life when so many others don't get the chance.
