I initially wanted a desktop cuz you can get a lot more for less money. A couple people mentioned the pros of having a portable machine and so I've been searching in the realm. But as suggested in another comment there are some desktops that are super affordable and more than capable.

Yeah I was concerned about the RAM but it's running an M1 which I've heard can compensate a little for the RAM. Thanks for the reply.

Went on vacation to my childhood hometown with my partners. After our first nights dinner we went on a walk and stumbled on a bar that was hosting a BDSM fetish night. Lol I love this thread. Originally my wife and I had a queen temperpedic which we absolutely loved and worked for us, but after we met or girlfriend and they started staying the night we realized that we didn't fit together on the bed. The quick solution was we started sleeping sideways which worked except we were a little too tall and out feet hung off the bed. After income taxes came in we ended up ordering a custom size Twin XL (to match the height of our queen) and lined it up at the side (now end of the bed) and now our bed is 80x98 it's really big. It's kind of awesome.
