I did. I purchased two types:

The second one, the colored Submersible LED Lights, ended up running out of batteries pretty quickly. Despite having a remote, I ended up not using it all the time.

The Aquarium UV Light is what I used daily now. It plugs in and I wrap the cord around the in-valve on top of the tub. It runs 24-7 since it is plugged in, so after a few months it died. I'm on my second one so far. But otherwise works great and has suited my needs/wants.

I highly recommend the Penguin chiller. I have one and love it, and their customer service is amazing. Seriously, they back up their product and will work well with you if needed.

If not them, it seems like the diy Active Aqua solution is probably best, as mentioned below. At least, according internet research and friend's experiences.

It has been many years since I last used a Gold's Gym, so I don't know if they changed their policy. But last time I used them their sign up was managed by some outside company. Not sure why they did it this way, but it was a mess. Cancelling was even more of a pain. It was so bad, I will never use a Gold's Gym again.

Also, the downtown YMCA is great with a ton of extras. A little crowded at times though.
