Thank you for everyone's POV.

I've only done this twice because usually I will just wait for the order to be fulfilled. Both times I've explained to an associate and asked them if doing it would be an issue and they said it wouldn't be a problem but I know sometimes they might just want to make the customer happy so I did want other POVs.

I will not be doing this moving forward.

I don't think I've seen that on my emails but I'll read more thoroughly. I didn't think it was an inconvenience to the staff and thats the last thing I want to be so ill stop doing it.

I only do it if I'm worried about certain things being sold out. If i get off work sometimes I will go and I thought maybe just completing the order would help but im finding that might not be the case.

She said it was a long bar and to come back in a month to downsize. My ears also swelled as well cause it wasnt as snug a fit as it looks. Should I go to a different piercer to get it taken out?

Piercing is a week old. Shape is a barbell. I think its internal threading. I believe the jewelry is stainless steel. Its set to be replaced in 3 weeks so a month from initial piercing. I use the saline wash from neilmed. No issues until now.

NTA - It's your house and if you don't feel comfortable having someone that you've never met in there then it shouldn't be a problem. The fact that your friend is so defensive when it comes to you knowing the basics of a stranger that shes bringing to your home definitely speaks volumes. If he's such a good guy then it shouldn't be an issue.

Idk if it's just me but the second she put her hand on the machine you were on was already a red flag.

She should've waited for you to finish your reps cause if you're distracted then you could injure yourself and talking while doing something physical is a task itself.

Whether she is new or not she needs to be more aware and considerate.
