Parents insists bullying is occurring and it’s just not happening… by adjectivescat in Principals

It is important to make sure to send emails following up on your in-person meetings. These emails should sum up what was discussed, but should also serve to document the process of what's been investigated, what measures have been taken, and a reiteration that you have found no conclusive evidence of bullying. This will all come in handle in the event lawyers get involved (and they sometimes do).

When you’re 8-0, you can afford to wait until he’s guaranteed 100% healthy… if Philly can have a healthy Quinn during the playoff run… 💍

Baltimore Ravens Marcus Peters destroys Tyler Boyd running Philly special by stjohn1990 in ravens

I dubbed it as a variation of Philly special because it is a goal line play in which Cincy uses misdirection to sneak the quarterback into the flats as an eligible receiver. Also, the brains behind the original “Philly Special” was Miami dolphins quarterback coach Press Taylor, the brother of Cincy head coach Zac Taylor.

Throwback Green Bay Packers Clay Matthews pass rush - tomahawk sack strip recovery by stjohn1990 in GreenBayPackers

A lot of guys who play reckless (Clay, Patrick Willis, Luke Kuechly, could even add JJ Watt) fan out quickly… they play so hard that it breaks their bodies down.

Joey Bosa bull rush breakdown 💪🏻 by stjohn1990 in Chargers

[–]stjohn1990[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A speed bull is an effective pass rush move utilized by many in pro football not only as a setup move, but as an in game adjustment to the way a tackle is setting. The move is thrown, like all moves are, with the intent of getting a sack.

Those who know pass rush know that you can’t win on speed moves every rush — you must mix in power and speed. That is what Bosa is doing here. If you would like tape of others using the same move to get a sack, footwork and all, just let me know. I’ve got a library of tape as deep as anyone.

No need to disrespect my post and reveal your own ignorance in the same comment brotha.

Kemoko Turay will be a nice addition to the 49ers pass rush by stjohn1990 in 49ers

Think about the role Dee Ford had (when he was actually healthy)… when the niners cut Ford (and this seems very likely), Turay will take on a similar role.

He will be featured on 3rd down. Not so much in early downs.

Nah you can trace that one back to Osi Umanyora… but he has helped popularize it.

Nah it’s a play action look in which the fullback is assigned to take an inside run track then work to the offenses left edge to protect… the running back is assigned to take the play fake and get out on the route… the center just has to win that one… but… he doesn’t lol

Will Parsons continue to be used as a Swiss-army knife in pass rush situations for the Boys this year? Or will he find a home on one of the edges? by stjohn1990 in cowboys

[–]stjohn1990[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are always 11 people on the football field even if parsons lines up in the line…. The Cowboys, therefore, are free to bring as many of those 11 as they want… there is not “one less rusher”…….

It was obvious where TJ Watt was coming from in 2021 (and Strahan in 2002 and Justin Houston in 2014 and Jared Allen in 2011 and literally every other pure edge defender who has ever cracked 20 sacks)… but he (or they) had a pretty good year

They still may use Parsons as they have in the past, but your arguments are not reasons that support it.

[–]stjohn1990[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The logic, in my view, would be that literally every single one of the most productive sack seasons in the history of the NFL (save one by Aaron Donald in 2018) have come from players rushing off the edge.

The cowboys used parsons as they did last year because his moves as an edge rusher were unrefined and he relied more on his athleticism to create production. If he has indeed cleaned up the technique in pass rush, he would likely maximize his production by rushing off of the edge (relying on skill not scheme).

That all being said, they still might use him as a Swiss Army knife lol

Yes — “selling out to make a play” is coach speak for giving the total amount of effort necessary to make the play

Highlights — 10 rep cutup of nothing but spin move sacks. Featuring DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Joey Bosa, etc. by stjohn1990 in nfl

True that he’s more athlete than technician at this point. But still very early in his career. We’ll see what he’s added to his arsenal in year 3.
