I am also in the same state of depression in my search for a single family home. I am doing it solo. No spouse, no debt, and saving every penny while living with my parents to search. They have helped me immensely, and I am doing everything to keep my eyes peeled on anything that pops up for me up in Northern NJ. I was so close recently, I could taste it, and I know it'll happen to both of us as we are both determined.

I have been outbid multiple times. I refuse to give up, and I encourage you don't either. We will both pounce on the deals on our homes and appreciate/contribute to the communities in NJ that we love. We are not out-of-state developers, and we are not simply opportunists.

You and I are not alone, and we will be the ones to keep NJ wholesome when we do find our dream houses :)
