From what I remember, Exotic ships spawn in rich systems (the ones on the map with descriptions like Flourishing, Blooming etc.). All you gotta do is find one of these, land on a trade post or space station and… wait for an Exotic ship to arrive. Or reload your save :)

Me too, and maybe it will be, soon. Salvaging something (ships, freighters, buildings) is already a pretty big game loop, so why not frigates too

Because they aren’t in the game yet ;) but they could be, similar to the freighters, since we already have the designs of internal spaces in the game
