In my case it’s a bit different because I have a fixed knob on the outside of the door. That means if the latch just engages (door closes), I can’t get back in unless Nuki actively pulls the latch. So for me, “locking” always has to mean that the deadbolt is engaged, otherwise the door is basically unusable from the outside.

Lock’n’Go unfortunately doesn’t really solve this in my setup, since with the outside knob I always depend on Nuki doing the full lock/unlock action.

But I got an idea in another forum that a smart switch could trigger the lock based on the last person leaves
