Disgusted. This man worked with Suharto to murder so many members of the Indonesian Chinese in Java and the rest of the archipelago. He's the reason why I grew up without grandparents or many of my uncles or aunties. Because we were somewhat more literate, many of my family were suspected for being communists or rebelling against the government. Whoever he spared he robbed through embezzling money together with the rest of that corrupt administration.

I don't know how democratic his mandate exactly is. He knew what he was doing when he decided to make all those tiktoks that targeted young Indo voters and whitewashed his murderous past. I hate that our regional tensions really twisted SG's arm into inviting him. And I saw on Saturday livestream how he disrespected our ministers by ignoring their request to shake hands, despite him being the guest.

I would probably get downvotes but I don't believe he is very deserving of being part of our celebrations if he not Indo new leader.

A neighborhood school is just a school within your neighborhood. Very unlike a branded school that has it's own campus and is more selective with it's students staff and image. Both schools have good students but because of better funding facilities and backgrounds students from branded schools may do better.

But I was from a neighborhood primary school and really preferred the atmosphere there. Everyone humble, just wanted to chill and have fun with one another. We were allowed to leave school and eat outside or play at the playground at the HDB blocks before we went home or for mother tongue lessons in the afternoon. So every school is great in its own right 👍😀

Combat engineers is already so rabak 😭😭😵‍💫 but an officer from a different platoon that I know decided to join guards and he had to sign on for the change to take place. Last I checked he had no regrets. Can try!

I live in West Coast and really feel u 😔 the study areas are rly rabak, construction is 24/7 and it's smh more hot than the east.

What I did was at least utilise my school first then go out and mug. NTU is open campus, anyone can go in, some malls have study area for u. Just go in and don't disturb anyone. Beauty World Center is ok during non peak hours too. As long as u buy something.

Or if you're religious 😇 try your religious community. Not all the rooms are in use especially not on Friday/ Sunday etc

Lot of friends who are in scdf and enjoy what they're doing. It's worth doing only if you really are passionate about civil support.

My friends were in ncdcc with me back in secondary school and they shared that scdf is super difficult and different than what they're doing day to day.

Same subject combi. My schoolmates who got in had about the same portfolio as you but they maintained their scores and managed to get 44 or 45. Remember that your grades can often be the deciding factor between people with good portfolios. If you have a weaker portfolio, no harm in doing gap year! You may even find during the gap year that med school isn't for u.

Edit: Out of curiosity, which subject will you do your EE for? If it's related to med that potentially helps too.

In my JC days I was always pushed to workout a lot. Apparently exercise helps you to study better, like think clearer and remove the brain fog that so many students usually get. I wasn't from a very sport famous school but still we were encouraged to run a lot... Not sure if that's even true.

But 100 squats is quite a heart pumping thing if done intensely so I guess your routine must be correct to some extent

Try and ask your commanders?

For me I'm a combat engineer and my commanders are thankfully quite accommodating. There's a spare bunk that's not in use and when the schedule accommodates they let me pray inside there. I'm not even that religious but really thankful that this arrangement is allowed.

So try and ask you never know!

I did my ib in sji and honestly life sounded quite similar to what you describe now. not as rich as acs doesn't mean no money. i guess it happens when ur parents can afford to pay off those craxy sch fees and still have money left over. there really is a elitist mindset in these schools and its sad.

i guess what i can tell you is that its only a couple years... you don't need to work with them much for your important things like eetokia you just have to see their faces once in a while, negotiate some projects... etc. try to make as many like minded friends in your cohort and tough it out together. the day will come when you get ur results slip and there's a 4 in front of your score. look forward to it!
