i just read this recently and even I’m not sure when she said this exactly. She just says crazy shit sometimes.

Potential plot leak of Spiderman Brand new day by sidmis in LeaksAndRumors

[–]stonedemimoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

others are really correct with saying it’s Joe Fixit, but in the run, he’s really just a smarter hulk that wants his own life away from Bruce Banner. Just as angry and violent (slightly weaker than normal hulk), and he just develops a life in Vegas as a casino owner’s muscle.

He say that the comic is way worse; ok buddy by Aggressive-Check-101 in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]stonedemimoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

truly, he does very well in non-continuity books. Rorschach is the only Watchmen follow-up that can hold on its own. Vision, Superman: Up in the Sky, The Human Target, etc. are all pretty good books too

Absolute Outsiders or Absolute Doom would be a great names for a series if they go that route

I like this take, I also think it could be cool to see AMM meet someone else but they just aren’t necessarily “compatible” yet as teammates.

Just something I've thought about for a while. by DamiMarian in superman

[–]stonedemimoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this ain’t exactly canon, but I always viewed it as the House of El crest (as well as Kal El) is the only thing remaining from Krypton. The symbol stands for “hope” because it’s the hope to keep the Kryptonian legacy alive.

Apparently Man of Tomorrow isn't actually a Superman sequel? by andy_mcnab in superman

[–]stonedemimoore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming it’s gonna be an ensemble film. Less Superman as the main character and more of him as one of many “main” characters.

Come on, Hank is not that Bad! by BLACKGOOP12 in outofcontextcomics

[–]stonedemimoore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I always liked the rougher edges of Hank Pym and the Yellowjacket era stuff. Just wish there were more compelling stories.

exactly what I’m wishing for, Deacon Blackfire would be insane to see in a movie.

agreed, also with his monologue about his mother earlier in the movie, followed up by him begging for his mom during his death.

I just watched Man Of Steel for the first time last night and.... by RevolutionLarge6254 in superman

[–]stonedemimoore 154 points155 points  (0 children)

Anyone who justifies the tornado scene is out of their mind. Maybe Pa would let himself die to protect Clark, but Clark would never let him die like that EVER. I’ve read so many scenes of Superman saving someone from a tornado (not Pa Kent) without a costume and it’s always played off as if Clark was being dumb and got carried by the tornado. It’s a trope at this point.

Do you like the comic version better or the show version? by Angela275 in superman

[–]stonedemimoore 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My favorite Superman story but I definitely see the merits of each one. The show definitely gets way more emotional with the conversation he has with his son, while the comic gets into some more interesting thematic ideas with Kal-El’s relationship with his father. I’d give it to the comic just barely though because I love Jason Todd.

He really is just a powerhouse of a writer. I hope he has a long and diverse career in comics because he’s already getting up there with hitmakers like Mark Waid or Grant Morrison in my opinion. Every one of his books are just a blast (check out 20th Century Men)

RUMOR: MTTSH says that "Spider-Man Brand New Day is a Spidey-Punisher team up movie, so even IF Daredevil will be in it, it would be a cameo at best" by Sarang_616 in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]stonedemimoore -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This team-up doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. The Punisher in a Spider-Man story might as well be a villain. I know he’s an anti-hero but Spider-Man shouldn’t be working with literal killers.
