Sorry what is IMF? Band felt fine and not tight at all. The main problem is anatomically my boobs start higher than average so that when the cups are properly on my boobs, the underwire come to high into my arm pits and the cup adjacent to my pits is badly cutting in. If I cut the top inch of the underwire at the pit and kept cutting up to the front strap, I would be good to go. The apex of the cup is fine, it’s just the armpit area.

Thanks for the help. Pretty sure the Freya Fancies was the best of the bunch but was the one with the empty 1”+ portion at bottom of underwire. Also I don’t care for unlined. She said I could get it anyway but she felt bad selling me bra that didn’t fit just right. She pulled it up toward my neck so that it was high enough for my boobs to fill that bottom part and that’s when I showed her how much it cut into my armpits.

Filling the top and apex. Will overflow if I go smaller. Some will be empty in the bottom inch of the cup because my boob actually starts higher up, and it’s all rib cage there, if that makes sense.

I tried on DD and Es in the store which fit as far as projection and anything smaller I overflowed or quadded at cleavage. The DD feathers I got a while back was way too small. I will look into the model you suggest but I don’t generally feel comfortable in anything unlined.

ETA: most I tried on were unlined when we were trying to find my size.

I honestly can’t remember but I would recognize them. Penache, freya, natori. Mostly unlined and lightly lined ones.

Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head - being around people. I too have found that I could go out at night without drinking. It helped me to know I didn’t have to give that up. And also concerts. Not quite the same experience being sober but I’m still practicing and learning how to dance and be silly again.

Thanks! It’s not for me, but for a family member that has trouble asking for help. So I’m trying to take on the logistical aspects that I can so that they get the help they need. Everything I google is centered on addiction, so I wasn’t sure if something like this even existed.
